-BAR & LOUNGE-
- AN IMPORTANT UPDATE TO OUR COMMUNITY -
Over the past two months, it has been a true joy to welcome many of you to Corpse Reviver Bar & Lounge at the distillery. We kept an eye on the numbers these past weeks and with the increase in national and local COVID-19 cases, we believe it is the right time for us to suspend reservations at Corpse Reviver Cocktail Bar until early January when we will re-assess.
Since opening Corpse Reviver in October, the safety of our team, our guests, and community has always been top of mind. With that, this temporary closing is an appropriate measure to ensure that we are doing our part to slow the spread.
Leading a small business during a pandemic has been a challenge but we couldn't do this without our community or our team. The entire distillery team [Corpse Reviver included] will have paid time off (December 24 - 30th).
We appreciate your support during this time. Electronic gift cards are available if you're looking for a special gift. Thank you and we wholeheartedly look forward to serving you delicious cocktails in 2021.
Wishing you a happy and healthy holiday season,
Melissa & Lee Katrincic, owners Durham Distillery

Covid Safety Protocols
These are the extra steps we have implemented:
We installed two portable hospital-grade HVAC air purification systems.
Both units are HEPA Filtration rated at the 0.3 micron level and 99.99% efficiency
Each unit cleans the air in the entire interior lounge every 12 minutes
One of the units also has the extra protection of interior UVC lights that are continuously shining on the collected organisms with high efficiency of kill
All of our seating (both in the lounge and on our patio) follows physical social distancing
All guests are required to wear a mask when not seated at their table
Our team wears masks at all times
Hard surfaces and restrooms are cleaned and disinfected every thirty minutes
Multiple hand sanitizer stations are located throughout the space
When you arrive, each individual will be required to complete a COVID-19 contact tracing agreement and symptom questionnaire as well as a temperature check
To manage capacity too, all visits will be for a 90-minute reservation and for the time being, the maximum per party per reservation is set to 5 people.
At Corpse Reviver, our goal is to be a place where you can relax, enjoy a cocktail and "Revive your spirit."
How are Corpse Reviver and Durham Distillery related?
It's easy! Corpse Reviver is actually Durham Distillery's on site cocktail bar. In 2019, the laws of N.C. changed to allow distilleries to serve cocktails. We've been working hard ever since and as of October 2020, we're now open!
Corpse Reviver Bar & Lounge features Durham Distillery's Conniption gins, Cold Distilled vodka and Damn Fine liqueurs. Yes. we do have other spirits and beer and wine too!
Frequently Asked Questions
Do you have patio seating and is it covered?
Yes, we do! You can book either patio or lounge seating when you make your reservation. The patio is covered and heated.
I have a large party. Can I book more than 5 people?
Right now, our max per reservation is 5 people. This is due to occupancy limits and social distancing requirements. We cannot combine tables at this time.
Are you kid and/or dog friendly?
This is a cocktail lounge that is part of a distillery so our requirements are a bit different. Please note that we are 21 and older only and can only allow service dogs.
Do you serve food?
We do! We have light bites available including our house made pimento cheese or whipped goat cheese, our special recipe of sweet and spicy assorted nuts and of course, marinated olives.
